Tyler Ferguson
Executive Director
Tyler has served in senior leadership roles in both the church and the San Antonio non-profit community for over 12 years, most recently at Any Baby Can of San Antonio. In these roles he has been responsible for growing organizational revenue, improving program delivery, and inspiring teams of volunteers to action, all with the goal of improving the lives of our city’s most vulnerable. Tyler lives with his wife, Brittney, and four daughters. In his (limited) spare time he enjoys long-distance running and playing taxi driver for all of his kids.
Ron mayott
Program and camp director
Ron is a veteran of youth ministry for the last 2 decades serving with Young Life and a variety of churches in San Antonio and Houston, TX and Huntington Beach, CA. He studied Speech Communications at Texas Christian University and also has a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.
Ron loves building relationships with students and summer staff while equipping them for a life of mission. He has joyfully served with Blueprint since 2018 and enjoys sharing the love of Christ with the great people of San Antonio.
Ron is a die-hard TCU Horned Frog and you can anticipate him sharing his love of sneakers, sports, food, movies, and music with all of his friends. You can count on his support of the San Antonio Spurs and he will happily oblige any ticket offers to attend games in person.
His wife Bethany is on staff with TRIO Student Support Services at University of Texas at San Antonio. Ron & Bethany have been married since June 2012. Bethany is originally from Bakersfield, Ca.
Together, Ron & Bethany have a daughter, who turns 4 in January 2025!
Barbra has been a volunteer here at Blueprint for the last 14 years while she was still a teacher with the San Antonio Independent School District. The school she taught at was in the same locale as Blueprint, so she was very familiar with the area and the wonderful people residing in the downtown neighborhoods. She retired from teaching after 34 years and naturally wanted to become more involved with Blueprint. She has cooked for campers, delivered popsicles, and even called BINGO games during summer camps. She is currently working as the Homeowner/Hospitality Coordinator here at Blueprint Ministry. She states, “The best part of this job is making new friends with all our visiting campers and building relationships with our sweet homeowners.”
Barbra earned a BS in Elementary Education from Texas State University in 1989 and a Master’s in Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2010. She has three grown daughters, Cassandra, Hannah and Julia. She loves her animals which include 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 9 chickens! She is also involved with Children’s Advocates of San Antonio as a court-appointed advocate for children in the system. She still loves bringing her family and friends to serve dinners to hungry campers.
Ashlee Deem
Part-Time Executive Assistant
Ashlee, born and raised in San Antonio, has been with Blueprint since April 2024. Prior to being hired at Blueprint, she worked in management and also worked in a children’s ministry as a lead teacher. Ashlee has a passion for listening and helping people. Together with her two daughters, she lives in Boerne and enjoys all things outdoors. She is excited to officially join the Blueprint team and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
Lydia Leyendeckers
Part-Time Communications Coordinator
Lydia, born in Kerrville, has been serving in ministry since she was 12 years old. She has served in Sunday School, VBS, Children’s Church, and Youth Groups. After working at a local Credit Union for almost four years, Lydia accepted a part-time position at Comfort Baptist Church where she served in Youth and Children’s ministry as well as marketing/design. Since then, she has owned her own design business as well as worked for other non-profits running social media marketing and graphic design.
Lydia and her husband Kenlley were married in 2019, live in Comfort, TX, and have two beautiful daughters.
In February of 2023, Lydia accepted a position in Communications at Blueprint Ministries. She is excited to work with Blueprint and further our mission through social media and printed designs.
Donna McKenzie
Administrative Assistant/Registrar
Donna, born and raised in Seguin, Texas, has been with Blueprint Ministries since December 2022 as the Administrative Assistant/Registrar. She has served in Sunday School, both as a teacher and special needs attendant, Vacation Bible School, and Youth Groups. She traveled to the Appalachia Mountains three times on youth mission trips, which opened her heart to serving others.
She has worked with and been involved with the Special Needs community for the past 20+ years. Her degree is in Management Information Systems, but she also obtained an alternative certification as a Special Education Teacher, teaching for 10+ years. In her role as the Administrative Assistant/Registrar, she answers phones, processes homeowner applications, works with the Program and Camp Director in registering volunteer groups coming to serve at Blueprint, and works with other staff when needed. She has lived in San Antonio for the past 41 years. Donna has a son, Chase, who is 25 and was adopted from Russia when he was 16 months old. In her spare time, Donna enjoys spending time with Chase, reading a good mystery, watching movies on the Hallmark Channel, and working on jigsaw puzzles. Her son recently has her watching the Marvel movies. Jeremiah 29:11
Chance Crook
Director of Facility and Construction Operations
Chance Crook was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. His formative years were spent at Calallen High School. Chance's academic journey continued at Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, specializing in Global Arts, Planning, and Design of Construction.
Before joining Blueprint Ministries, Chance gained valuable experience in both residential and commercial construction, honing his skills and expertise.
Outside of his professional life, Chance is a passionate individual with a love for Team Roping, Texas A&M Football, and Texas A&M Baseball. He shares his life with his beautiful wife, Amanda, and their daughter, Lainley, who was born on June 12th, 2024. Chance's family is a source of joy and inspiration for him.
Chance is guided by a profound belief in gratitude and resilience. He firmly believes that even on our worst days, we are always doing better than someone else, a perspective that encourages gratitude and empathy. Chance also holds the conviction that when solutions seem elusive, one should look harder, as there is beauty and valuable lessons to be found in every struggle. He believes that the most significant personal growth occurs during challenging times.
Chance Crook's life is a testament to dedication, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact in both his professional and personal spheres.

Scott Austin
President of the Board
Scott Austin is a coach and consultant with extensive experience in non-profit and senior level management. As an independent consultant, Scott has worked in a wide array of sectors such as the construction industry, philanthropic foundations, and community initiatives. His clients include attorneys, physicians, executives, and entrepreneurs. Scott serves as a board member and consultant to several local organizations in the city of San Antonio where he lives with his wife Shannon, a pediatrician, and their two sons. In 2010 Scott and his closest friends planted a Church community in North Central San Antonio. Prior to the co-founding The Park, Scott served several churches (and denominations) as a youth, college, and family pastor. He holds a BA in History from Texas State and a Masters in Theology & Mission from Northern Seminary.
Steven E. Hearne, M.D.
Director
Steve Hearne is from San Antonio and a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Steve is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and in the subspecialty of Gastroenterology and an Assistant Professor for the Department of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.
Steve has spent over 15 years in the inner city of Memphis, Tennessee repairing homes for people living in sub-standard conditions. He is an active member of a local church as well as Emmaus and Kairos ministries. Steve has been a member of the Blueprint Board for the last five years.
Jeffrey Kemp
Director, Secretary and Treasurer, Founding Member
Jeff Kemp is a shareholder in Kemp & Stitch, P.C. Jeff has over thirty years of business experience including ten years in the tax departments of the international accounting firms of Arthur Andersen & Company and KPMG Peat Marwick. Jeff is responsible for over 350 clients ranging in size from individuals to major local companies. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1979. Jeff is a member of a local church where he teaches an adult Sunday school class. He is also actively involved with missions to Albania. Jeff's hobbies include golf, reading, and being a grandpa. Jeff is a charter member of the Blueprint Board.
Perry Sedgwick
Director, Construction Supervisor, Founding Member
Perry Sedgwick is the owner and president of Sedgwick Construction, Inc. With over 20 years of experience, Perry has completed many commercial and residential remodel jobs. Perry is a licensed, residential and commercial, building contractor for San Antonio and the State of Texas. Perry’s prior work experience includes serving as the Regional Sales Manager for U.S.A.A.’s Life Company and Owner/General Manager of Lone Star Fireplace Supply Company.
Perry, along with his wife Dee Dee, worked to start Blueprint Ministries, Inc. Perry helped oversee the extensive restoration done on Blueprint’s one hundred year old facility. Perry serves in the ministry now as the volunteer Construction Supervisor guiding the selection of homes, order of projects, projected materials needed, and supervision of work done. Perry’s interests include golfing and spending time with his wife, two children and four grandchildren.
Bryan L. Thomas
Director
Bryan Thomas has devoted his career and life to helping people be the best God has created them to be. As a certified mediator and life coach, Bryan has helped for-profit businesses, non-profit organizations, and corporate leaders move beyond barriers to achieve extraordinary results. He has over twenty years of experience working at Fortune 100 companies, including MetLife and USAA. Bryan earned a BBA in Human Resources at St. Mary’s University, and an MBA in Management & Leadership at the University of the Incarnate Word. He is currently a Doctoral Student, working to earn his DBA in Organizational Leadership.
Bryan is also the lead pastor of a local church here in San Antonio. He has been married to his wife Sharon for thirty-five years, and he has three adult children and three grandsons. His hobbies include hiking and listening to jazz music.
Lois true
Director
Lois True is a devoted daughter, sister, mother of 3 adult sons, and wife (since 1991) of a retired Air Force physician. She is also an Air Force veteran who served as an administrative officer and protocol officer. Upon separating from the Air Force in 1998, she became a full-time mom and volunteer, serving in leadership roles for MOPS, AWANA, Community Bible Study, and local churches/schools. She is a worship leader, organizer, event planner and Sunday School teacher. At Blueprint, she has enjoyed being a camper, chaperone, host for summer interns and volunteer since 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the US Air Force Academy in Basic Sciences and a Masters degree from Chapman University in Secondary Education. Her hobbies include piano/singing, Bible study, group fitness, travel, reading, snorkeling and ballroom dancing with her husband.
