I think relationships with homeowners is where I really thrived and the most important part of the ministry for the campers. Many of the homeowners just wanted company so spending time listening to them seemed to make the most impact.

Summer Staff

We are looking for college aged men and women who want to share Christ’s extravagant hope, love and grace to both San Antonio homeowners and campers. Each position is demanding as you will be stretched mentally, physically and spiritually. However, the camp experience is extremely fulfilling as you share the love of Jesus Christ with campers and homeowners, grow in your faith, and develop lifelong relationships with fellow team members and campers. Our summer staff roles include compensation, housing on-site, help with gas money, and meals during camp.

the following paid positions are available for
Spring BReak and summer 2024:

Construction Team – Don't let the name fool you; you don't have to be an expert in construction to thrive in this position.  This is essentially Blueprint’s version of a camp counselor. You will oversee work being done on homes and be a liaison between campers and homeowners.  You will also be responsible for directing the work plan, securing materials, and managing the work site. You will get a new group of "campers" each week, but you also get to spend the most time with them!

Media Team – Our media team consists of photographers and videographers who are responsible for documenting the excitement of camp and telling the story of Blueprint. Media team members should be organized, ambitious, and creative.

Photographers follow a shooting schedule, shoot and organize photos of each work site daily, and make a slideshow each day for evening chapel. Applicants should have a working knowledge of photography.

Videographers shoot and edit footage to make a weekly camp video and other marketing materials.  Applicants should have experience in videography, video production, or photography.

Hospitality Team – The person in this role will receive a food service manager certification and will work directly with a cook and the Community Engagement Director. Each morning and evening you will help to serve a meal alongside your hospitality team and volunteers. Hospitality staff will meal plan, grocery shop, food prep, serve, and clean. This person should be organized, flexible, confident, and relational.
