Layton interviews the Cobb Family

Last week, Layton Kauffman sat down (virtually) with Patrick and Soren Cobb to talk about their involvement with Blueprint Ministries and the furthering of Blueprint's mission in their community.

Through his chaplaincy at Ft. Sam Houston, Pastor Cobb created an ongoing partnership between chaplains, soldiers and our staff. Blueprint Ministries has had the honor of working with over 200 soldiers in the span of 2 years to rebuild homes during construction work days.

While the Cobb family has now moved to Montesano, WA, they carried the mission of Blueprint Ministries with them. From what he gleaned as a camper, Soren Cobb is helping to restore the home of a homeless family in their community. Additionally, Pastor Cobb hopes to began home restoration with volunteers from the congregation of his church.

Thank you, Cobb family, for reminding us that a mission doesn't exist in one building, or camp, or program, or even one state! When the mission of restoring homes and restoring hope is rooted in bringing God's kingdom here on Earth, it can find life anywhere!
